The attraction is spontaneous. But what the heck is going on? The elf tries to explain time travel and needing her help and the darkness......But she has no clue.
After talking to James she allows Elron to explain. They all travel through the gate in the garden. But what happens? The darkness is in James and Ainsley has been poisoned. What can the three of them do to change the situation??
Fantastic end to a wonderful series. I really enjoyed it. Characters are great. Love that James. There are sad times as well.

Forged in Light The Forged Chronicles Book 4 eBook Alyssa Rose Ivy Reviews
For some reason I really like these books and will forever and always read her books but I have a hard time sticking to them like I do with other books. An great writer and the story is worth the read.
Having read all four now, I liked the story. I usually like a lit the books Alyssa Rose Ivy writes, but thus one was a bit off feeling, like it was rushed and not completely finished in telling the story. It it could just be me, either way it was still a good story.
I was really excited about the beginning of this book. It really started up great with them being back in the original book's setting. As it went on I lost interest. I did finally finish the book. The ending seemed forced, like it was missing a chapter. It was definitely weird. Overall the series was good and in will continue to ready more books by Alyssa Rose Ivy.
An awesome ending to an Amazeballs series. I loved this book but hate that it's the end of the series. This book is intense and the twists and turns just keep coming, even to the last chapter. Dramatic and angst filled. You could feel this connection between the two characters jump off from page one and it doesn't stop. I still have some questions but I don't want to give away any spoilers. A worthy read.
I read all of alyssa rose ivy books and this one was just sub-par. I'm pretty sure I blinked and the big ending was over in a page. The other 3 books in this series were really good but I didn't like how she started all over from the beginning to make it work. All that character development went out the window when they don't even really know each other to start the book. Maybe she has too many book series going at once but this one seemed to lag. Hopefully Haleys story doesn't disappoint.
This conclusion to the Forged Chronicles uses a very interesting plot to create a good, but unexpected, end to the series.
The story development is imaginative. The approach used by Ivy, to tie up the series’ loose ends, is clever.
The is not a lot of further character development in this book, as most of that is covered in the previous three books in the series. 4 1/2 stars
I would highly recommend re-reading the first three books prior to reading Forged in Light. Because of time constraints, I failed to do so, and I was a little lost from time to time as a result.
This book is recommended for New Adult, and older, readers
I don't know if I liked this one or not. It seems like we waited an awful long time for "Light" and it feel let down by it. I feel like Ainsley and James deserved a better ending than this. I am going to re-read the last 2 books and see if my thoughts change but I must say that I am a little disappointed. I am glad they are together but there's just something "off" and I can't put my finger on it. The end felt rushed to me for some reason. I didn't feel good when I finished 'Light" as I did when I read all the others.
